Spell 31 is described by Ibeyi as a healing journey—an invitation to celebrate moments and emotions we often overlook.
Our creative direction was rooted in the album’s central themes: Healing, Death & Spirituality, Ancestry & lineage, Magic, Nature, and Ritual, Identity & individuality.

A major source of inspiration was Richard’s Paradox, referenced in the track Sangoma.
We used this idea of infinite paths within a finite space to express
the nonlinear nature of healing— something personal, complex, and cyclical.
